These are honeycomb tiles that I've made for the house installation I'm building for my thesis. They will go on the outside of the house, while the inside will be painted a certain kind of wallpaper.
These honeycombs are acrylic gel transfers on canvas. I sewed into them, glued paper around them, and coated them in encaustics (wax). I will be making three or even four times as many.
